’’From struggle to success’’ The power of ideas
Our next guests will tell us more about the power of the ideas. They started their journey to fulfill their dreams. They are motivated group of three – Oshikka Lumb, Mahima Sharma and Manav Kaushik. They are founders of a company based in India, called Markitiers
1. What is your business about? How was the idea born?
We at Markitiers provide best and absolute solutions to startups. We will also offer Youth Marketing, which will aim at powering programs to connect brand and youth. The idea is to engage youth and take up powerful projects and campaigns that will act as mediator between them. For this, we plan to associate with colleges, run brand centric events and ambassadors programs and also use unique ways of marketing such as “guirella” marketing. We believe in Unconventional and creative ways of brand building. In the past one year, despite of acing academics, the motivation towards a holistic development was powered by a decision to take projects and work to the best of our potentials. We tried our hands on various startups and here stemmed out an idea to work exclusively for the startups. From a student to an intern to a startup round the world, this was where our journey began. We decided to fulfill our dreams as a team and launched Markitiers.
2. Tell us something about yourself and your team?
The two other team members that are pillar of strength to Markitiers are designing and communication headed by Divyanshi and Rastogi and team members of web developers Abhisehek and Garvit. We intend to hire interns and expand our team in the next few months.
3. What are the struggles that you have experienced?
We come from a typical conventional ”academic background’, family which major focus was on getting marks and a good college; thus there was a significant psychological pressure. Also, marketing is a field of evolving trends. It took us a substantial amount of time to convey as to how we plan to help start-ups to influence the marketing trends and what sets us apart from traditional branding strategists.
4. How did you solve your problems?
Under privileged sector will not only transform business ideas, but help the organizations to contribute towards holistic development of the society rather than fulfilling it for formality.
5. If you had a chance what would you do in differently?
Markitiers believes in the ”power of ideas’’ and the differences they create. With the idea to unite startups we are attempting to pitch into market by all forms to get sufficient leads so that the future social portal will not only ensure their interaction within the market, but also create a friendly environment outside the world of startups. Apart from being the samplings for tomorrow’s only ecosystem, it will also benefit the startups in a great way. So here is a chance to change the conventional ways of marketing.
6. What was the best advice so far?
One of the best advices came from our co-founder Mahima Sharma. It was to hire Divyanshi in the team. We were apprehensive initially but this came out to be one of the best decisions taken by us. Divyanshi is not only passionate about designing, but painter at heart and expresses her ideas through her myriad paintings. She works with various mixed media to connect well with the audience. Clearly a startup not only runs on investments and business ideas, but also people involved in its execution. There are no worst advices. Every advice so far has only made a transformation for better in the way we deal with things. It has refined our perspectives and carved our ways to turn our ideas into reality.
7. What will be your advice to the other entrepreneurs?
As a team we put forward just one message that the world needs to hear – Trust yourself and know what you want to do in life, and eventually explore your being. See you in the market
